DENVER SCREENS IDEA

THE FOLLOWING IS ONE IDEA FOR THE SCREENS IN DENVER. ON MY LAST TRIP, I ASKED THE STAFF WHAT THEY THOUGHT SHOULD BE ON THE SCREENS. THE UNDERLYING THEME IN ALL THERE ANSWERS WAS THAT DENVER IS VERY PROUD OF THEIR HERITAGE.

I DID SOME RESEARCH AND MYRON VALLIER PUBLISHED  A COFFEE TABLE BOOK CALLED “HISTORIC PHOTOS OF DENVER”. I TRACKED DOWN MYRON AND HE SAID WE COULD USE ANY PHOTOS WE LIKE. THEY ALL BELONG TO THE PUBLIC LIBRARY OF DENVER WHICH HE IS STILL AN EMPLOYEE OF.

BELOW ARE SOME IDEAS OF HOW TO ARRANGE THE SCREENS. WE ARE LIMITED TO HOW MANY OLD PHOTOS EXIST THAT ARE LARGE ENOUGH TO PROJECT ONTO THE SCREENS.

PLEASE FEEL FREE TO COMMENT. IF YOU HATE IT , THAT IS OK. I AM JUST TRYING TO GIVE AN OPTION. ALSO, WE MAY WANT TO DEVELOP NUMEROUS SHOWS.

LASTLY, I DO NOT THINK THE IMAGES SHOULD TRANSITION QUICKLY. I THINK THEY SHOULD REMAIN ON THE SCREENS FOR FIVE TO TEM MINUTES. IF THEY MOVE QUICKLY, THE WILL BE AS DISTRACTING AS THE TELEVISIONS.
